Dark mode for Chrome OS

Dark mode has become a new trend among apps and web interfaces recently. Dark mode feature has been introduced in many platforms from social media platforms to business networks.

Chrome OS does not want to be left behind this trend. With the work begun by Google, the dark mode feature is being developed for Chrome OS Canary. It is stated that the tests are still continuing for the dark mode, which is stated to be displayed for the first time in September.

After Google introduced dark mode in many of its services, including Gmail and Google calendar, it will not come as a surprise that this feature is also provided for Chrome OS.

Users who want to use the dark mode right now have to log in to the Chromebook, then go to the following two URLs and drop both flags from the drop-down menu.

chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark

chrome://flags/#enable-webui-dark-mode
