According to statistics from the data company Glassnode, ETH miners earned $166 million in September. This amount was derived from transaction fees.
September was successful for ETH miners
Ethereum, the second most popular name in the crypto money market, continues to bring in miners. Information shared by data provider Glassnode shows that ETH miners earned $166 million in transaction fees in September.
While there was a 47 percent increase compared to August, ETH mining reached an all-time high. We also conclude that ETH miners earned 6 times more than Bitcoin miners, given that Bitcoin miners earned just $26 million in transaction fees last month. ETH also broke a record for itself in September.
It is emphasized that this increase in the denominator in ETH mining is due to the increased DeFi activity. Bitcoin, which has been traded horizontally in the last 14 days, has not left much open for miners to earn income. Therefore, the success of ETH in crypto money mining seems to continue.
