Technology giant Google has decided to reduce application commissions, which are the subject of major complaints among Android application developers. According to the regulation that will be effective as of July 1, Android developers will be commissioned according to the annual income they earn from the application.
Small developers will pay half as little
Accordingly, for purchases made through the Play Store, developers will pay a 15% commission for their annual earnings below $ 1 million. They will continue to pay 30% commission for their earnings above $ 1 million.
This figure was previously 30% fix for all developers. In other words, Android developers with small incomes no longer have to pay 30% of their earnings to Google.
