Intel will detect brain tumor with artificial intelligence. This artificial intelligence to be developed promises great hope for the future.
Intel speeds up AI work
Intel, which is one of the most important companies in the semiconductor industry, also undertakes innovative studies in the field of artificial intelligence. This time Intel is working on a new health-focused project.
A new artificial intelligence is being developed in the project where Intel is working in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania. This artificial intelligence will be able to detect the brain tumor. It is stated that thanks to the early detection of a brain tumor, early measures can be taken for patients and treatments can be applied at an earlier stage.
However, Intel chief engineer Jason Martin stated that this artificial intelligence, which is under development, will need much more data than it is now. For this, cooperation will be made with 29 health institutions in different countries such as USA, Canada and Germany. In addition, the confidentiality of patients will be protected in these data.
With artificial intelligence reaching a more advanced level, it is expected to offer significant advantages in the field of health. Intel, which is in the background in competition with AMD especially in the processor sector, tries to take advantage of the opportunities in these fields by turning to innovative fields.
