Kazakhstan is preparing to make a massive investment in Bitcoin mining. It is stated that the investment to be made will be approximately 715 million dollars.
Kazakhstan aims to grow with Bitcoin mining
Today, while the crypto money market continues to grow very rapidly, some countries continue to keep a distance from this issue. In fact, many countries are trying to take precautions on energy consumption by banning Bitcoin mining activities.
However, Kazakhstan is among the countries that have a moderate approach to this field. According to the information shared by Reuters, Baghdad Mussin, who serves as the Minister of Digital Development in Kazakhstan, is pursuing an important investment strategy in this field. Aiming to strengthen the country’s economy with mining, Kazakhstan will make an investment of 715 million dollars for this.
Stating that they currently have 13 mining facilities, Mussin states that 4 more facilities are under construction.
According to research by Cambridge University, Kazakhstan has 6 percent of the total Bitcoin power. Kazakhstan, the fourth largest Bitcoin mining center after China, the USA, and Russia, is among the countries receiving immigration in this area.
