Motorola’s new 5G-powered smartphone, which is expected to be introduced soon, the Moto G 5G has been vividly displayed online. The device, which is unknown when it will be introduced, is expected to take its power from the Snapdragon 750G mobile platform.
Lenovo introduced the Moto G 5G Plus, the new smartphone with a dual-hole front camera, last summer. After this model, which made an assertive entry into the 5G competition in the middle segment with its relatively affordable price, a new Motorola smartphone with the code name ‘Kiev’ has now emerged.
The new budget-friendly 5G smartphone, which is expected to be called the Motorola Moto G 5G, is expected to be released as a different version of the Moto G 5G Plus, which was launched in July. Allegedly, the new phone will get its power from Qualcomm’s 5G powered Snapragon 750G mobile platform.
What will the Motorola Moto G 5G offer?
We’ve seen the Snapdragon 750G chipset before on Xiaomi’s Mi 10T Lite model. The Snapdragon 750G, Qualcomm’s new mid-top segment processor, has Kryo 570 cores that provides up to 20% performance compared to the Snapdragon 730G and uses Adreno 619 GPU on the graphics side.
In addition to the chipset, other claimed features of the Motorola Moto G 5G include a 6.66-inch 2400 x 1080 pixel AMOLED display, 5,000 mAh battery, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB expandable storage and triple main camera setup.
To put a separate bracket on the camera side, the source says that the device uses the Samsung GM1 48 MP Quad Bayer sensor as the main camera. In addition to the main camera, it is stated that Samsung S5K4H7 telephoto and OmniVision OV02B10 2 MP macro cameras are also included in the device. When we move to the front, the OmniVision OV16A1Q 16 MP sensor is on the device.
Finally, the Moto G 5G is said to have SD card support and an NFC reader. It is not yet known when the device will be introduced or what the price will be.
