OnePlus, one of the major brands of the technology industry today was founded in 2013 by Carl Pei and Pete Lau. Pei is starting a new journey with his own start-up.
OnePlus left the company in October to start its own start-up. Speaking to Wired, Pei announced that he had collected $7 million as a result of his relations with his close circle and that he was about to establish a new start-up working on sound.
The business area of the new start-up is expected to be announced in 2021. It is expected that this work of Pei is not only focused on headphones, and that innovative technologies will come to life with this start-up.
Pei Wired said in his interview that they are curious about how the market will react to this and that they will act aggressively within their vision. He also stated that there was no problem with Pete Lau that would require a quit.
