Parler, the “free expression” platform, on which Trump’s supporters made their arguments, was deleted from the Apple and Android application market.
They allowed a limited return
Could it be that “censorship” on Parler is being lifted, with Trump leaving the presidency and Biden taking office?
Google and Apple trusts have not yet allowed Parler in the app market. However, Amazon, which hosts Parler’s web service, has allowed the site to return in a “limited way”.
Parler managers also announced on the site that the service will be active again until the end of January. However, Parler’s example remained in mind as an interesting example of how giant tech companies such as Amazon, Google, Apple, Facebook can silence anyone who “doesn’t like”.
