Recently, YouTube has come to the fore not to prevent crypto money fraud. Ripple has filed serious charges against YouTube.
Ripple blamed the YouTube side
YouTube and the star of the cryptocurrency market do not make peace. The important names of the crypto money market accuse YouTube of not removing fraudulent videos and not taking the necessary measures to do so.
A lottery video was posted on YouTube recently and XRP raffle was offered to users. After this video, a fraud scandal broke out and it was determined that the participants in the lottery were defrauded. Ripple’s side, who quickly intervened in the incident, blames YouTube for the draw. Ripple claimed that, despite all warnings, YouTube did not take action and insistently did not remove the video.
Ripple emphasizes that it sent 350 alerts to YouTube on this issue, but that YouTube did not heed these warnings. YouTube’s failure to act for a video that received tens of thousands of views in just a few hours is emphasized as blindness. Making these allegations, Ripple is not alone in criticizing YouTube’s policy. Similarly before, Steve Wozniak blamed the platform for Bitcoin scams.
