Ferrari CEO Camilleri recently announced his retirement. So who will be the new Ferrari CEO?
Two candidates for the new Ferrari CEO
Camilleri, who was the CEO of Ferrari, the giant name of the sports automotive industry, left the post, citing personal reasons. It was known that 65-year-old Camilleri also had health problems recently.
Now, it is started to talk about who will come to this managerial seat in Ferrari. Reuters wrote that two names in Apple’s management could be appointed CEO of Ferrari.
Reuters announced that these are Luca Maestri, who is currently CFO at Apple, and Jony Ive, formerly of CDO. While Luca Maestri has been in this senior role since 2014, Johny Ive left the company in 2019 to found the independent design company LoveFrom. Both names are nominated as new candidates for Ferrari due to their high level of experience.
Of course, these two names are not among the alleged candidates. Vodafone’s former CEO Vittorio Colao is said to be close to this seat in Ferrari.
