Showing her driving skills at the age of 16, Chloe Chambers became the holder of the new world slalom record using the Porsche 718 Spyder. Chloe passed through 51 cones in 47.45 seconds.
While many of us were studying in high school at the age of 16, Chloe Chambers, a young girl of the same age, made it to the Guinness Book of Records. In the video posted by Porsche on the official YouTube channel, the story of 16-year-old Kart racer Chloe breaking the world slalom record by car was told.
Stating that he likes to drive and fight in the published video, Chloe got behind the wheel of the Porcshe 718 Spyder and started attempts to break the record. The record-breaking attempt in the US state of New Jersey ended successfully with Chloe’s incredible vehicle control.
Chloe’s record-breaking moments:
While there are even those who find it difficult to drive normally today, Chloe repeated the slalom maneuver several times in a row, one of the most important factors of stability and feeling the car. After a few tries on the runway, Chloe switched to formal trials.
Chloe, who managed to pass through the cones in 47.45 seconds without destroying any cones in her last attempt, finished the course half a second faster than the previous record and became the holder of the new world record. Porsche congratulated Chloe at the end of the video, saying ‘Thank you for dancing with us’.
Chloe Chambers traversed 51 cones in 47.45 seconds. The cones were placed 15 meters apart from each other. The previous driver who broke the world record under the same conditions did so in 2018. In the meantime, it is worth noting that the driving skill is used at a high level in slalom maneuvers.
Chloe, the owner of the new record, used the unmodified Porsche 718 Spyder in her record attempt. The vehicle Chloe used was producing 414 horsepower in total. The vehicle was rear-wheel drive and was home to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
